2. -Biotechnostics is a spin-off company from the University Hospital Basel (Neuromuscular Research) developing multiplexed biomarker assays for personalized medicine.
   

3. -Creopitx Ltd. is a start-up established in 2009 and based at the Grow Incubator Wädenswil. The company is specializing in optical instruments with a fundamentally novel detection scheme, allowing label-free biochemical sensing with highest sensitivity and detection.
   

4. -Cytosurge LLC is an spin-off company from the ETH Laboratory of Biosensors and Bioelectronics. Its aim is to develop and to commercialize a recently invented FluidFM™ technology.
   

5. -Hutman Diagnostics develops DNA based diagnostic kits for the fast, accurate and reliable identification of pathogens, responsible for serious and life-threatening infections.
   

6. -ProteoMediX Ltd. is a spin-off company - from the ETH Competence Center for Systems Physiology and Metabolic Diseases, groupe of Prof. Ruedi Aebersold - specialized in the identification of novel biomarkers for the early detection of cancer and the personalized treatment thereof.
   

7. -Virometix Ltd. is a spin-off company from the University of Zurich (Group of Prof. John Robinson)  developing a new generation of vaccines and immunotherapeutic drugs for the prevention and treatment of infectious and chronic human diseases.
   

8. -UrbanFarmers is a spin-off company of the IUNR at ZHAW in Wädenswil, offering a system for urban food production. Their products base on aquaponics, a technology for the production a protein-rich food (any fish) and vegetables, herbs or fruits (any plants).
